A reason

Standard

I walked into the clinic this morning at 8:50 and happened to glance in my mailbox. There was a blue envelope. The return address was the grade school where I did my placement last year.

“Oh, how nice. They sent us all a little thank-you/congratulations note!”

I opened it. It was a thank-you. From the mother of one of my students (the student had also signed it). She thanked me for my patience and told me I would be a wonderful teacher. I almost cried. That’s why I do what I do.
